2. What data do we process and for what purposes?

We process users’ personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

  • Adding comments – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller – communication and spam protection).
  • Sending contact forms – Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (user consent).
  • Cookies and analytics – Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent).

3. Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the form data, IP address, and browser information to detect spam. We use the Gravatar service (Automattic Inc.). Their privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

 

4. Cookie files

This website uses cookies for technical, statistical, and marketing purposes. Upon your first visit, a cookie banner appears with the ability to select settings.

We use, among other things:

  • Session and persistent cookies,
  • Google Analytics cookies (if implemented),
  • Marketing cookies (e.g., Meta Pixel – if implemented).

You can manage cookies in your browser settings or from the banner.

5. Embedded content from other sites

Embedded content (e.g. YouTube, Google Maps) may collect user data in accordance with the privacy policy of the respective provider.

6. How long do we store data?

    • Comments and their metadata – indefinitely.

    • Contact forms – up to 12 months.

    • Cookie data – according to their expiration date or until consent is withdrawn.

7. Data recipients

Data may be transferred to entities processing it on our behalf:

  • hosting companies,
  • analytics providers (e.g., Google),
  • anti-spam providers (e.g., Akismet, Gravatar).

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area, except where the tools (e.g., Google, Meta) provide appropriate security measures in accordance with the GDPR.

8. What rights do you have?

You have the right to:

  • access your data,
  • rectify it,
  • delete it (the so-called “right to be forgotten”),
  • restrict its processing,
  • transfer your data,
  • object to its processing
